In what appeared to be a genuine case of a double causing a
mistaken identification, Virgil Hogan, thirty-one, was cleared in August,
1962, after serving four years in the Indiana State Reformatory for a
robbery his double had committed in Fort Wayne.

sentence, 10 to 25 years. August, 1962, conviction set aside, indictment
